Nora Croft is a skilled intellectual property (IP) professional with a background in organic chemistry and over 10 years of experience in IP protection, commercialisation, and education. Her expertise includes patent drafting, prosecution and portfolio management across a wide range of technologies, developed during her tenure at AJ Park and UniServices.
Nora’s work is focused on guiding companies through the complexities of IP management. To this end, Nora provides strategic advice on timing, data requirements, jurisdictions, and IP asset mix to ensure that IP assets are optimised for capital raising, licensing and market exclusivity.
Her experience in conducting landscape, patentability, freedom-to-operate (FTO), and competitor analyses allows her to offer clients comprehensive insights that support sound decision-making and strategic planning.
Nora is passionate about IP education and as a Guest Lecturer in Commercial Law at the University of Auckland, is involved in training the next generation of IP professionals. Nora also regularly delivers IP and patent-specific seminars to audiences having varying levels of prior exposure to IP.
